Notification Templates: Configure
Take Control of Your Communications Configuring and Enabling Notification Templates on the Platform
Notification Templates allow you to configure automated messages sent by email, app, push, SMS, and Teams. Notification templates can be enabled and disabled in the Notification Settings area.
Whilst notification templates can not be added or deleted, they can be enabled and disabled at a feature level i.e Review Templates, Objective Templates, when you create a post.
i.e you can turn off SMS notifications for a comms post by un-toggling the SMS notification button when creating the post.
Step One
To configure a notification template, hover over the Comms section of the sidebar, then navigate to: Configuration ➡️Notification Templates, then select the Notification Templates title.
Step Two
Click on the pencil icon under the ACTIONS section for one of the notification templates. This will open the UPDATE TEMPLATE pop-up.
Step Three
The Template Name is visible only to platform administrators, therefore, you can leave this as it is. For email notifications, you may wish to update the Subject field as this is the subject of the automated email.
Step Four
Next, update the content of the notification in the text box. You can pull data fields from the platform (i.e names) by typing the '@' symbol, a box will appear with all the fields that you can select for that template.
Step Five
Click the SAVE button at the bottom of the pop-up to save any changes made to the template.
