Notification Templates: Configure*
The Notification Templates area allows configuration for automated messages sent by email, app, push, SMS, and Teams.
Notification templates can not be added or deleted, however they can be enabled and disabled at a feature level.
i.e you can turn off SMS notifications for a comms post by un-toggling the SMS notification button when creating the post.
Notification templates can be enabled and disabled in the Notification Settings area.
Step One
To configure a notification template, navigate to the Comms area of the platform in ADMINISTRATION mode and select the NOTIFICATION TEMPLATES tab.
🚀 If you are using our new menu feature, hover over the Comms section of the side-bar, then navigate to:
Configuration ➡️Notification Templates
Select the Notification Templates title and proceed with step two.
Step Two
Click on the pencil icon under the ACTIONS section for one of the notification templates. This will open the UPDATE TEMPLATE pull-out drawer.
Step Three
The Template Name is visible only to platform administrators, therefore you can leave this as it is. However you may wish to update the Subject field as this is the subject of the automated email.
Step Four
Update the content of the email in the text box.
To be able to merge information in that is stored in the system use the merge fields by typing @, a box will appear with all the fields that you can pick from for that particular template.
Step Five
Click the SAVE button at the bottom of the drawer to save any changes made to the template.
