New Starter: Add
How to Add New Starters and ask them to complete the required data fields.
With your Personal and Secure Data Templates in place, you're ready to add any New Starters. These are the individuals navigating your onboarding flow, providing the information you've outlined in your templates.
This guide will show you how to add new starters to the platform, but you can refer to the specific guidance on converting and rejecting new starters to employees.
Step One
Hover over the People section of the side-bar, then navigate to: Manage ➡️New Starters. Select the ➕ next to New Starters to open the Add New Starter pop-up.
Step Two
Populate the mandatory fields within the form, then specify whether the New Starter Form is sent to applicants immediately following creation, or you can choose to defer this activation to a later date. Then select the data templates at the bottom of the drawer before clicking the SAVE button.
Step Four
The New Starter will appear in the list with a status of 'invited'. They will also receive an automated email from the platform if you selected the ACTIVATE IMMEDIATELY option.
When the employee clicks on the link in the automated email, it will provide them with a version of your platform which includes the fields specified in the data templates.
