# New Starter: Convert

## Completing Onboarding by converting a New Starter to an Employee Profile

Once the New Starter has provided their information in the form, you can choose to convert them to an employee in your platform. This completes the onboarding process in StaffCircle.

#### Step One

Hover over the People section of the side-bar, then navigate to: Manage ➡️New Starters. Select the New Starters title to display a list of your platform's new starters.

#### Step Two

Identify the New Starter from the list and click on the green person icon under the ACTIONS section. This will open up a pop-up similar to the below:

#### Step Three

Enter the employees work email address in the field provided (or mobile number by toggling on *Use Mobile for Secure Comms*).

Then click the *CONVERT TO EMPLOYEE* button.

#### Step Four

A second pop-up will appear which will display the fields completed by the employee. Click the *CONVERT TO EMPLOYEE* button to complete the onboarding process.

The New Starter will now show as an employee in the People directory amongst your other employees.
