Content Notifications

When content has been published (or notifications are re-sent) the notification icons associated with the article are updated. There are dedicated icons for in-app, email, SMS, push, and Teams.

The icons associated with the post indicate that notifications have been successfully sent, a clicking on the icon will show who the notification has been sent to alongside the date and time stamp.

Red icons indicate failure to send - this could be for several reasons. For example, push notifications are only sent when the user is in the StaffCircle platform. So if a user is not using StaffCircle when the article is published the push notification will fail to send.

This is a list of notifications sent to users but does not guarantee the notification was delivered to the user as this is out of the control of the platform.

Notifications can be set on a post-by-post basis, but if an article is posted to a custom feed then it will inherit the notifications of the channel it has been published to. Further information regarding channel notifications can be found in this guide (steps six and seven).
