When are notifications triggered and who do they go to?

Notifications are set within the platform and triggered from various events. 

You can choose to turn platform wide notifications on or off in the Notifications Settings  tab under Communications. 

Notifications for individual functions can be set when creating an Article, Objective/Review etc. 

And Users can control the notifications that they receive and when on their devices in their own profile settings

Absence Request - Sent to the manager as soon as the request is made.

Absence Review - Sent to the absence requester when the request has been approved or declined. 

Absence Request Reminder - Sent to the manager 5 days after the request is made.

Article Created - Sent to all recipients as soon as the article is published.

Award Awarded - Sent to the award recipient as soon as the award is given. 

Change of Username - Sent to the User as soon as the request is made to alter the username. 

Comment - This is dealt with in a conversation format as soon as the comment is made. i.e Manager comments on Employees objective regarding progress, Employee is notified. Employee comments on own objectives, manager is notified - Functionality live on Objectives, Reviews, Tasks and Rewards. Please note this is not yet live on articles.

Document Created - Owner of the folder where the document is created is notified as soon as the change is made.

Document Updated - Owner of the folder where the document is updated is notified as soon as the change is made. 

Folder Created - Owner of the folder where the folder is created is notified as soon as the change is made. 

Folder Updated - Owner of the folder where the folder is updated is notified as soon as the change is made. 

Forgot Password - Sent to the User as soon as the request is made to alter the username.

Objective Assigned - Sent to the Objective Owner as soon as the objective is assigned.

Objective Progress - This is dealt with in a conversation format as soon as the progress is made. i.e Manager updated the Employees objective progress, Employee is notified. Employee updated progress on own objectives, manager is notified. If a person outside of this updates the objectives progress both the Employee an Manager are notified. 

Objective Reminder - Manager and Employee are notified 5 days prior to the due date.

Person Data Change - Manager is notified as soon as the change is made. 

Review Overdue - Manager and Employee are notified 24 hours after the due date has passed. 

Review Reminder - Manager and Employee are notified 5 days prior to the due date. 

Secure Code - Requester notified as soon as request made. 

Sign up - New User notified as soon as Activated.

Task Assigned -  Sent to the Task Owner as soon as the Task is assigned.

Task Completed - Sent to the Task Recipient as soon as the task is completed.

Task Overdue - Task owner is notified 24 hours after the due date has passed. 

Team Membership - Sent to the new Team Member as soon as they have been added to the Team. 

Welcome Notification- Sent to the new User as soon as they have completed the registration process. 

Notifications in the main are sent on the mediums of Email, SMS, In App and Push (for android users). This is with the exception of Sign Up, Change Username, Forgot Password, Welcome,and Secure Code. The notifications for these requests are sent to the Users Username which will be either their email address or mobile number.
