People: Activate (including Bulk Activation)

Once the person (or people) have been added to the platform, they will then need to be activated before they can access their StaffCircle accounts.

You can activate people on an individual basis, or as part of a bulk activation (usually performed as part of the initial tenant launch).

Activating a Single Person

Step One

Navigate to the People area of the platform in MANAGE mode.

🚀 If you are using our new menu feature, hover over the People section of the side-bar, then navigate to:

Manage ➡️People

Select the People title and proceed with the steps in the rest of this guide.

Step Two

Select the name of the employee from the list using the search bar or filters. This will open up the employee's profile where you would typically update their personal information.

Step Three

Click on the Security Tab to the left-hand side.

Step Four

Under the System Information section of the page, Click on the 'ACTIVATE' button. A pop-up will confirm that you wish to activate the person's account. Click YES, ACTIVATE [PERSON NAME] to send the person an activation email for their account.

Activating Multiple Users (Bulk Activation)

Step One

Navigate to the People area of the platform in MANAGE mode.

Manage ➡️People

Select the People title and proceed with the steps in the rest of this guide.

Step Two

Select the tick-boxes next to the people who require account activation as shown in the image below:

  Navigating to the next page of users will not retain the section, you can only activate employees on a page-by-page basis.

Step Three

Once the people have been selected, click on the ACTIVATE button in the top left-hand corner to activate their accounts. A pop-up will confirm that you wish to do this - select the green button to proceed.

This will send the people an activation email for their accounts.
