Employee Engagement Module
New Article Feed v.1.25.0
We deliver these releases to improve your experience and the value, functionality, and features of StaffCircle.
This release update provides you with a brief, high level description of new and updated features which have been released specifically to help organisations remotely manage their employees, drive culture and engagement.
The focus for this release is changes in the HR Operations module to improve pro rata of holiday entitlement and other Holidays and Absence fixes, along with a new optional Article Feed View which we plan to make the default view in the not-too-distant future.
Holidays and Absence
In the Manage > People > person > Time Off we now show the prorated holiday allowance for the employee if they have started part way through the holiday year or have a leave date set in the holiday year.
This is also confirmed in the information pop up with the original entitlement from the absence policy
We have also added the prorated allowance to the absence summary report and a new column to show the original allowance from the absence policy - so you can create a report to run a comparison.
New Article Feed View
We have added a new article feed view for engagement and culture users. This view improves the view of the article feed, showing multiple articles at a time in a more focussed social style column. We have added improved navigation for the default and custom feeds, plus the introduction of widgets to end users (similar to manager today screen) to show commonly used information and actions. Initially these widgets are for My Team and My Upcoming Time Off.
The view can be enabled by switching on the feature in Settings > Organ & Branding > Beta Features
End users will now see the new Article Feed View by default as below.
They can easily click to book time off and see their upcoming holidays (if you are using the HR Operations module).
And for now, whilst trying out the new view, the user can choose to click back to the old article view using the switch at the top of the page.
