Employee Engagement Module
Home Page v.1.40.0
Deployment date: 12/07/2024
We deliver these updates to enhance your experience with StaffCircle, improving its value, functionality, and features.
This update will give you a quick overview of new features, enhancements, and fixes we've included.
TLDR; Another instalment of our UX/UI updates brings the ability to set your employees and managers their own home pages to make sure they're landing on the most relevant page.
Home Page🏡
Setting the Home Page
As an administrator you'll notice the Customisation page within the Organisation & Branding area of the platform has been updated to reduce unused white space, and remove toggles and columns. There is now a Settings section where the new Home Page fields are available.
Home Pages for Employees
One of the most visited pages in the platform for employees are the news feeds, and we see all customers set-up custom feeds to ensure employees are being kept up to date or all company information.
Within the "Employee Home Page" drop down, all employee accessible pages, including Custom Feeds, can be set as the Home Page.
Home Pages for Managers
We appreciate that managers have heightened access to Reviews, Objectives, Holiday Requests and People records and so may need a different home page to those of the employee.
Whilst you can set employee accessible pages and Custom Feeds for managers, you can also set 'manage' pages, dashboards, reports and the Today Screen (which is your catch-all area for items due this week and updates on who is celebrating work anniversaries and birthdays).
Defaults
Following the release both employee and manager home pages will be set to the employee view of the module, for example if Holidays & Absence was selected as the module home page, then both types of user will land on the Holidays page.
We've also introduced a default to ensure everyone always lands on a home page. Should a manager not have access to the selected "Manager Home Page", they will default to the "Employee Home Page".
