"Groups" Manage View

This is the section you can add, edit and remove groups. Each group has a description, @alias, group manager and logo and can be either permanent or only last for a specified period of time - which is useful for project based groups.

Groups have no hierarchy and can span across departments.

Groups can also have skills assigned to them which will allow you to search for people with those skills across the organisation. It will also allow you to see any skills shortages inside a group which could mean you need to resource additional skills.
