Managing Content

Content: Delete/Unpublish

From time to time, you may need to remove content from your feeds - there are two different ways that this can be done: unpublishing, and deleting.

Deleting content is a permanent change to the platform, and deleted content cannot be restored. Unpublishing content will hide it from the feed, but it will remain visible in the platform to those who have access to the Manage Comms area.

Step One

Hover over the Comms section of the sidebar, then navigate to: Manage ➡️ Content. Select the Content title to view all content across all feeds.

You can use the filters on this page to look for content in a particular feed/channel.

Step Two

To delete a post from the platform permanently, click on the red trash can icon. This will delete the post for everyone, not just you.

To unpublish a post, click on the pencil icon to open the Update Content pop-up. Continue with the steps in the rest of the guide.

Step Three

Click on the UNPUBLISH button at the bottom of the pop-up to unpublish the post. This will remove it from the feed, but it will still appear in the Manage Content area.

You can identify unpublished content and draft articles via the grey pencil icon next to the title:

If you have unpublished your content, you can move this to an alternative feed by editing the post and changing the feed and channel before republishing it. This process is key when deleting feeds and channels.
