This release update provides you with a brief, high-level description of any new and updated features along with any bugs that have been fixed.
TLDR; As a further installment of the Employee Development theme, a Career Development Dashboard is available to employees and managers that assists with career progression for your employees.
Enabling the Career Development Dashboard
Using the Search Bar type "Beta Features" and select "View beta features" or go to Settings>Organization & Branding>Beta Features and toggle on "Career Development Plan".
A new section within an employee's record will be visible for the managers, and a new section from within your profile will be visible to interact your own career development.
Configuring the Career Development Dashboard
Selecting which competency fuels the dashboard
The Career Development Dashboard is fueled by one of the competencies from within your platform. To access your competencies either use the search bar and type "competencies" and select "view competencies" or select Objectives & Reviews>Configuration>Objectives>Competencies.
From within the Competencies click the competency that you'll link objective and review templates. As this feature focuses on employee development we recommend using "Development" or "Personal Development", etc.
Once in the competency click the ellipsis menu and then update. You'll see a new setting called "Career Development". If selected and the competency then saved, this will be the competency that fuels the Career Development plan.
Associating Objective and Review templates
Whilst still in the competency, you'll need to associate the relevant Objective and Review templates. Select the cog on the far right next to the relevant area with in Associate Objects.
Within the modal, select all relevant templates and then select continue and confirm selection on the second modal.
As a Manager
To view your employee's Career Development Plan go to their record by finding them through the search bar, the Today Screen or your employees list in People & Groups.
Once you've selected the employee record you'll see the Career Development section with a "New!" label. The page consists of the following elements:
- Key Stats
- Role Explorer to select their next role
- Career Statement
- Skills Gaps based on the selected next role skill requirements
- Next Development Review (this will be the next review based on due date of the review templates associated to the competency that fuels the Career Development Plan)
- Success Circle
- Development Objectives
- Conversation
As an employee
You'll find your Career Development Plan in your profile by clicking your name in the top right of the screen and then 'Profile'. The Career Development Plan will be a new section available to you.
This new section enables you to select a role you'd like to move to, as well as provide a career statement, see what skill gaps or surplus you have, along with your Next Development Review, overall Success Circle score and any Development Objectives.

The PWA has been updated for US customers meaning when setting StaffCircle as a homepage on your mobile, users feel like they're using an app and aren't required to login (unless their session has expired).

Updated user experience for Internal Reviewers when they're being removed or added to a review to provide feedback.
Roles💼
New Field! Average Role Tenure has been added to the Role object, enabling you to make a note of how long you believe someone should be in the role before being eligable to progress to a new role.
