We deliver these releases to improve your experience and the value, functionality, and features of StaffCircle.

This release update provides you with a brief, high-level description of any new and updated features along with any bugs that have been fixed.

TLDR; Ever wanted to group your skills to see how people align to your Soft Skills, Behavioural Skills, and Technical Skills? Now you can with the latest release! Leveraging AI to generate Capability groupings using your existing skills and company information, enables you to create skills and associations on mass, and instantly see how your employees align with your overall expectations.


Capabilities

Within the Skills area of the platform is a new Capabilities tab. Here you're able to create groups/collections of skills to see how your workforce aligns to not only your strategic goals, but the skills needed in the business the execute those goals.

Creating Capabilities

Within People & Groups>Configuration>Skills>Capabilities select "Generate Capabilities". This will generate up to 10 capability groupings utilising your existing skills in the platform.

The capabilities shown will provide a description of the grouping created, along with the skills suggested that suit the capability.

You're also able to manually add individual capabilities and then enrich them, which will not only suggest existing skills but also recommend new skills that would complement the business and capability being created.


Behavioural Skills

In our core AI release last year, we introduced the ability to generate role based skills utilising your company name, industry, and website to provide context for descriptions and skill suggestions.

This release takes it a step further and looks into creating behavioural based skills using the context of your company values. Enabling you to see further your employees' alignment to your company.

Within Settings>Organisation & Branding>Values, a "Generate Behavioural Skills" button will present a dialogue box to show the recommended skills based on your values.

If you're happy with the suggestions, selecting save will generate the skills, as well as creating a capability grouping called "Values & Behaviours".


Succession Planning Dashboard

Now you're able to create capability groupings, you'll be able to see how your workforce aligns to these groups.

Go to Objectives & Reviews>Insights>Succession Planning. Here you'll see a new switch above the Success Circle that will take you from Strategic Alignment to Capability Alignment.

Strategic Alignment: This is how your employees align to the overall business competencies, such as Performance, Culture, and Development.

Capability Alignment: This is a new way to visualise how your employees align to the core skills within your business. For example, whilst an employee might be developing additional skills to progress, and performing well in their role, they may not be fully up to scratch with your Values & Behavioural skills.

Career Pathway Icon

As an additional improvement to the Succession Planning dashboard, a Career Pathway column has been added, giving you an overview of their career aspirations and most recent training, objectives, and development review.
