Add a Competency

Step One

Navigate to the Objectives and Reviews area of the platform in Administration mode.

🚀 If you are using our new menu feature, hover over the Objectives and Reviews section of the side-bar, then navigate to:

Configuration ➡️Objectives ➡️Competencies

Select the ➕ next to Competencies and skip to step four of this guide.

Step Two

Select the COMPETENCIES tab at the top of the page, this will take you to the area of the platform where you can add your company's competencies.

Step Three

Click on the ADD button to the right-hand side of your screen, this will open up the ADD COMPETENCY pull-out drawer.

Step Four

The title is the name of the competency, and populating a description will provide context as to what the competency is about. This description will help your platform users understand which competency is appropriate to use, or how they fair against a certain competency.

Step Five

We would recommend uploading an image for the competency. This image will display when a manager is creating an objective for an employee for example.

You can then select the competency colour which will be the colour used for the competency's segment of the employee's Success Circle.

Step Six

Then use the toggles to configure where these competencies can be used within your platform.

If you wish to incorporate these competencies in to all elements of the platform: feedback, review feedback questions, awards, and objectives - then you can leave the toggles as they are.

Step Seven

Click the SAVE button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to add the competency to the platform.
