Absence Types: Edit
You may wish to amend an existing absence type within the platform, for example to update the description or image. You may also wish to add additional sub-types to the absence type.
Step One
Navigate to the Holiday & Absence area of the platform in Administration mode.
🚀 If you are using our new menu feature, hover over the Holiday and Absence section of the side-bar, then navigate to:
Configuration ➡️ Absence Types
Select the Absence Types title and proceed with step three.
Step Two
Select the ABSENCE TYPES tab at the top of the page, this will take you to the area of the platform where you can view the absence types within your platform.
Step Three
Select the pencil icon next to the absence type. This will open the UPDATE ABSENCE TYPE pull-out drawer.
Step Four
Update the fields within the form (further information on the fields can be found in this guide).
Then click the SAVE button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to save any changes.
To add sub-types to the absence, select the title of the absence type from the list (step two) and click the plus button under the APPOINTMENT SUB TYPES box to the right-hand side.
