7.1 Using Web-hooks with Power Automate (Microsoft Flow)
Microsoft's Power Automate system previously known as Microsoft Flow provides a way to interface StaffCircle to various other systems which also connect to flow. Using StaffCircle with Microsoft Power Automate / Flow dramatically increases the capability of StaffCircle and extends the platform into other systems.
To set up a Flow which integrations with StaffCircle's Webhooks is a 2 step process.
1. Firstly setup Microsoft Flow / Power Automate if you havent already done so - if you are a Office 365 Customer which usually comes with the license. You can log in to Microsoft Flow by going to https://flow.microsoft.com and logging in with your Office 365 account which has admin privileges.
Click on the + Create - then select Create a new Automated Flow
and you will see a Build Wizard appear - important- please click on the "Skip" button to close this Wizard.
Now a new box shows up wher eyou need to type "HTTP" in the search and then select the green "Request" connector.
One the HTTP Request dialogue appears you can name your Flow and then paste the Request Body JSON Schema into the box provided.
The JSON Schema is provided for you by StaffCircle and will depend on the type of object sending information to Flow. A list of Schemas for each StaffCircle object can be found here.
