Task
This content type is ideal if you are using our Tasks and Worksheets feature, it allows you to assign a task to multiple individuals at once and create surrounding content which appears on the feed of the employees you are assigning the task to. This is a great way to assign tasks at a Department or Site level.
When creating task content, you can select the individual who will be notified when the employee completes their assigned task. Your worksheet must be ready to use before you use it to publish task content.
In the image above, you will note the yellow icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the tile – this will take the employee straight through to the assigned task, but they will receive a separate notification containing a link to this in addition to the one received for the post.
Task content is ideal for acknowledgement forms for SOPs, policy changes, and employee handbooks.
When creating the task within the content wizard, you will need to select the worksheet and the default approver who will be notified when the assigned tasks have been completed.
Once published the recipients, whether that be everyone or a group, will receive a notification of the new article and the new task assigned to them.
As an administrator you will be able to see the status of those tasks in the Tasks and Worksheet area of the platform. You can also check the tasks associated with the post in the Statistics area.
