Feedback Questions

Scored-based Questions

StaffCircle reviews can include three types of questions: scored, option, or text. Scored questions allow you to assign weighting to question responses, which can contribute to an overall review score.

Below is an example of a scored question within a review:

When configuring scored questions, you can choose different scoring scales for each individual question, and/or remove that score's contribution to the overall review score.

Whilst any audience/participant type can respond to scored questions, only the Reviewer's scored questions will contribute to overall review score.

Scored questions you may not want contributing to the overall review score may pertain to mental health. For example, If the employee is reporting poor mental health, then this should not negatively impact their review score.

In addition to the radio-button score, you can enable written feedback which will allow the individual to elaborate on their selection/score. You can also configure this feedback to be optional, mandatory, or removed from the question completely.

When creating option-based questions, you will need to provide the options for the questions, for example 0 - unacceptable, 5 - outstanding. You can select a scale from the Use preset score template drop-down menu. Alternatively you can create your own scoring template.

Once you have selected the scoring template for the question, click the APPLY SCORES button to apply this to the question.

If you do not click the APPLY SCORES button, the scoring will not be saved against the question and a red warning sign will display next to the question in the Feedback Questions details view.
