People: Add
To add an employee to the platform so that they are able to use StaffCircle, you can follow the guidance below. Once the employee has been created, you will then need to activate them following the steps within this guide.
Step One
Navigate to the People area of the platform in MANAGE mode, then select the ADD button to the right-hand side. This will open the ADD PERSON pull-out drawer.
🚀 If you are using our new menu feature, hover over the People section of the side-bar, then navigate to:
Manage ➡️PeopleSelect the ➕ next to People and proceed with the steps in the rest of this guide.
Step Two
Complete the fields within the form, noting that the fields with an asterisk * are 'required' fields and therefore the user cannot be saved without this information.
Required fields: First Name, Surname, Date of Birth, Time Zone, Email Address (or Mobile Number), Alias, Start Date, and Status.
Not everyone has an email address that is why our Username can either be set at the Email or Mobile number. The email address will be used as default. If the mobile number is preferred then toggle 'Use Mobile for Secure Comms'
Registration communication will be sent to the Username. Meaning if the Username is the Email and a link will be sent to the user email to follow the process. If the 'Use Mobile for Secure Comms' toggle is enabled the activation code will be sent via SMS.
Step Three
Once the mandatory fields have been populated, click on the SAVE button in the right-hand corner to add the person to the tenant.
Note, that this does not automatically activate the person's account, and this will need to be done as part of a separate process.
