Leaver Process (ex-employees)

From time to time you will need to update and change your personnel within your StaffCircle Platform. This article shows you the 'standard' Leaver Process you should follow.

Step One

Navigate to the People area of the platform in MANAGE mode.

🚀 If you are using our new menu feature, hover over the People section of the side-bar, then navigate to:

Manage ➡️People

Select the ➕ next to People and proceed with the steps in the rest of this guide.

 

Step Two

Select the name of the employee from the list using the search bar or filters. This will open up the employee's profile where you would typically update their personal information.

Step Three

Navigate to the Payroll section of the employee's profile and populate the employee's Leave Date. This will pro rata the employee's holiday allowance up to the leave date (if pro-rata has been enabled).

Step Four

Navigate to the employee's Personal Information section. Within the EMPLOYEMENT OVERVIEW section, change the Status field to ex-employee. Then click the SAVE button to confirm this change.

Step Five

Next, you will need to revoke the employee's access to StaffCircle. Click the Security tab to the left-hand side.

Step Six

Click the DE-ACTIVATE button within the SYSTEM INFORMATION section of the page. This will block the employee's system access to the system (and stops any recurring objectives and reviews for example).

Step Seven

Navigate to the Payroll section using the menu to the left-hand side.

  Users who have access to this page will be restricted to those with Sensitive permissions.

Click on the padlock icon in the top-right hand corner of your screen. This will send an automated email to your email address containing a secure code.

Enter the secure code in the text box and click the green tick icon to validate the secure code. You will now be able to view the information on the Payroll page.
