How to Enable and Configure the 9‑Box Grid in StaffCircle

Enable the 9‑Box Grid

Switch to Administration Mode in StaffCircle.
Go to Settings → Organisation & Branding → Beta Features.
Toggle "9 Box Grid In Reviews" to ON.
Go to Reviews → Review Settings.
Under 9 Box Grid Settings, toggle "Enable 9 Box Grid" to ON.

Customize the 9‑Box Grid

You can edit each box’s title, description, and color.
To update a box, click the box in the 9‑Box Grid settings, make your changes, then save.

Viewing placements and permissions

Managers and admins can view employee placements on the 9‑Box Grid from the dashboard in the Reviews area.
From the dashboard, managers and admins can drill down to see which employees are in each box and access review details.
Employees will not see their placement in the 9‑Box Grid unless they have access to the dashboard section of the Reviews area (for example via super user permissions).

Recommended approach to rollout / testing

There is no separate test environment for the feature.
To dry‑run the configuration before company‑wide rollout, create a test user and a test manager account to simulate the experience.
