How to Create and Customize Review Templates in StaffCircle

Creating a new review template

  1. Open the Reviews area of the platform in administration mode and select the Templates tab.
    • If your instance uses the new menu, go to Configuration > Reviews > Templates and click the ➕ next to Templates.
  2. Click the ADD button to open the Add Review Template drawer.
  3. Enter a title and description for the template.
  4. Optionally select a folder to organize the template.
  5. Click Next and complete any additional configuration steps shown, then save the template.

Customizing template settings

  • Notifications: Configure notifications so participants are informed of review creation, completion, and reminders.
  • Toggles and flags: Use template settings to mark the review as sensitive or to exclude scores where needed.
  • Additional configuration: Complete any extra options provided after clicking Next in the template creation flow before saving.

Adding and managing review questions

  1. Open the review template and locate the Feedback Questions section.
  2. Click the plus (+) button to create a new question.
  3. Select the question type:
    • Scored
    • Options
    • Text
  4. Fill in the Question and Description fields.
  5. For scored or options questions, set any required scoring parameters or selectable options.
  6. Save the question and repeat for each additional question.
