AI Assist has arrived, plus a round of notification and reporting improvements

Here's everything StaffCircle shipped to production across our June and July releases — headlined by AI Assist, our new way to chat with your platform data in plain English.

 Introducing AI Assist

Chat with your StaffCircle data in plain English and get live, branded reports back — right inside the platform.

💬

Ask a question, get a real answer

Ask a question, follow up in a threaded conversation, and turn the answers you use most into saved prompts your whole team can reuse.

  • Natural-language chat grounded in your own StaffCircle data
  • Threaded follow-up questions, so you can dig deeper without starting over
  • Save and share prompts and reports across your organisation
  • Reports stay aware of the record you're viewing, with clickable links straight through to it
  • Image recognition and automatic article image generation

Improvements across the platform  Alongside AI Assist, this release includes fixes and quality-of-life improvements across Objectives & Reviews, Notifications, Reporting and Integrations.

Objectives & Reviews

  • Extending an objective's due date while a review is in progress now saves correctly, instead of being silently ignored.
  • From a feedback question template, you can now click through to see every review template that uses it — no more guessing where a question has been applied.

Notifications

  • Colleagues asked to give internal feedback now receive the correct appraisal invite email, rather than a generic "review created" message.
  • Notifications are now customisable, branded emails.
  • New notification sets alert teams when training is nearing its expiry date, and again once it has expired.

Reporting

  • HR teams can now pull probation end dates directly through reporting, rather than requesting a one-off export each time.

Integrations

  • Creating a one-off task through the public Tasks API no longer requires a Task Interval value — helpful for automations, such as Power Automate flows, that only ever create single, non-recurring tasks.
