Absence Policy: Carry Over Holidays for Year End Reset
When creating an Absence Policy, you can specify how many days the employee can take to the next holiday year. These will automatically roll over to the next holiday year, however you can use our Year End Reset feature to carry over any additional days which fall outside of the policy.
To view the number of Carry Over days within an Absence Policy, you will need to navigate to the Holiday and Absence area of the platform in ADMINISTRATION mode and select the ABSENCE POLICIES tab.
🚀 If you are using our new menu feature, hover over the Holiday & Absence section of the side-bar, then navigate to:
Configuration ➡️ Absence Policies
Select the Absence Policies title and proceed with the rest of the steps within the guide.
Select the name of the Absence Policy from the list to open the details page. Then refer to the 'Maximum days allowed for Carry Over' section.
