Absence Overview Report

The Absence Overview Report displays a definitive list of absence types used within the specified date parameters. The report will detail how many requests and how many days have been logged for the absence type which can identify trends and patterns with certain illnesses for example.

To view the report, navigate to the Holiday & Absence area of the platform in MANAGE mode and select the REPORTS tab.

🚀 If you are using our new menu feature, hover over the Holiday & Absence section of the side-bar, then navigate to:

Insights ➡️ Reports

You can utilise the icons in the top right-hand corner of the screen to help you find the information you need:

	Hides/unhides filters
	Hide/unhides columns
	Refreshes the report
	Exports report to CSV
	Closes the report

Utilising the text and date filters at the top of the page will refine the search criteria, making it easy to locate specific information for the most relevant and desired results.

The following fields are captured within this report:

Field Name	Description
Absence Type	The type of absence submitted (i.e holiday, sickness)
Absence Sub Type	The absence's sub type (if applicable)
Approved Days	Cumulative approved days for this absence type
Approved Hours	Cumulative approved hours for this absence type
Approved Number of Requests	Cumulative number of approved individual requests
Approved Number of People	Cumulative number of users who have has this absence type approved
Pending Days	Cumulative pending days from submitted absence requests
Pending Hours	Cumulative pending hours from submitted absence requests
Pending Number of Requests	Cumulative number of pending requests associated with this absence type
Pending Number of People	Cumulative number of users with pending requests associated with this absence type
Total Days	Cumulative number of submitted days associated this absence request (regardless of status)
Total Hours	Cumulative number of submitted hours associated this absence request (regardless of status)
Total Number of Requests	Cumulative number of submitted absence requests (regardless of status)
Total Number of People	Cumulative number of users who have submitted this absence request (regardless of status)
